Resident artist Heather Lindsey will help you step into the pages of your favorite stories in this semi-guided watercolor bookmark class, inspired by beloved literary portals such as The Chronicles of Narnia, Alice in Wonderland, and Through the Looking-Glass. In this imaginative class, participants will create two original watercolor bookmarks to make and take home.
This semi-guided format offers gentle instruction and demonstrations while encouraging personal creativity and storytelling through art. Learn basic watercolor techniques including color blending, layering, simple illustration, and detail work while designing whimsical “doorways,” windows, and portals that invite readers into magical worlds.
